The Aspen LSO doesn’t look like other back braces because it’s not . . . it’s better! It provides better motion restriction and fantastic patient comfort. The flextab cutouts along the top and bottom edges prevent it from digging into the body when sitting or laying down in bed.
The Aspen LSO back brace closure system in the front is designed to segmentally increase total support and compression around the entire lumbar spine for a solid, supportive fit. The nylon hook and loop fasteners are designed to hold up to daily usage without breaking. The
brace is perfect for post surgical disectomy patients in need of a high degree of stabilization, chronic failed low back surgery syndrome sufferers, or for anyone with chronic low back pain in need of a high degree of stabilization from a high quality product.

Effective spinal bracing is a critical component of pain relief, functional mobility, and post surgical stabilization. The Classic Aspen LSO is the precursor to the new Contour LSO. This brace should only be used if the posterior window is desired for easy inspection and access to incision sites. Otherwise the Contour LSO is a superior product for both ease of use and motion restriction.
The Aspen® Lumbosacral Bracing System™ offers the practitioner multiple orthotic options that provide a high degree of immobilization, unparalleled comfort, and the ability to selfadjust to patients . . . even if they gain or lose weight. It combines the motion restriction of a custom fabricated orthosis with a dramatic improvement in comfort for better patient outcomes.
SureSlot™ adjustment system provides a wide range of circumferential sizes to ensure a good fit. CushionFlex Tabs™ soften the edges of the brace. Rigid polyethylene support restricts motion, yet is easy to modify to relieve pressure over anatomical contours, bony prominences or bone graft sites. Breathable cotton-lined pads further soften the interface. Effective spinal bracing is a critical component of pain relief, functional mobility, and post surgical stabilization.
